Is the color blue really blue if there is no one around to look at it? Adapted from the daring book of poems by critically acclaimed writer Maggie Nelson, Bluets paints vivid pictures of moments in the life of a woman as she struggles through loss toward healing. This solo dance theater piece uses examples of the color blue in history, philosophy, art, and literature as a lens through which to examine mental health, creative depression, and the freedom that can come with acceptance.

Tiny Errors at the End of the millennium
September 13 – 16, 2018
The year 1999 is almost over. On the competitive dance circuit, a dancer’s obsessive attempts to correct her choreographic mistakes threaten to take over her life. As she pushes her body further and further towards perfection, old technologies make way for the ascendance of the Internet. While playfully resurrecting parts of the collective social consciousness of 1999, Tiny Errors at the End of the Millennium examines the cultural fragmentation that has led us to today.
